Crushers Baseball is excited to present a Winter Training Camp for Baseball Players!
Crushers Baseball will be offering a Winter Training Camp focusing on baseball fundamentals, skill development, building confidence and FUN!
The primary objective of the program is to continue growing the size and increase the level of play or our program level. This camp will be geared towards having a fun and memorable experience. The experienced instructors will introduce, develop and hone each players skills and confidence to take their game to the next level throughout evaluations and the season.
CRUSHERS BASEBALL development philosophy is a strong belief in building a strong fundamental base of core skills and mechanics and progressively advancing to more position specific skills and techniques, situational and strategic parts of the game. Also introduces the concepts of fair play, fitness, competition, safety, teamwork and the importance of a positive attitude.
Players can expect to work on these important skills:
- Warmups
- Throwing
- Fielding - Positional Play
- Pitching/Catching
- Hitting
- Baserunning
- Rules & Playing the game
- FUN Mini games
Groups are necessary to manage numbers, for safety reasons and to ensure kids get the best possible baseball experience. Final Group placement will be at Crushers Coaches discretion (may be asked to move groups based on numbers/ability). (Groups limited to max 16 players)
CRUSHERS 1 (2008-2010 CP/Minors)
Coach Pitch and Minors aged players with a focus on introducing and developing basic skills and fundamentals. Coaches will provide a fun and slightly competitive atmosphere to help increase confidence in the game.
CRUSHERS 2 (2005-2007 Majors/Peewee)
Majors/PeeWee aged players work on all aspects of baseball skills and fundamentals required to further their development, as well as position specific instruction, base running/pitching/catching
CRUSHERS 3 (2001-2004) (JRS/Bantam/SRS/Midget)
JRS/Bantam/SRS/Midget aged players with more advanced position specific instruction and more offensive/defensive situational instruction and development
Instructors will be CRUSHERS BASEBALL Coaches with guest instructors when available
Coaches: This is an excellent opportunity to learn and help hone your teaching/coaching skills. The instructors are more than happy to help “coach” the coaches and participation is encouraged
